Featured story

How we tripled trial signups for a local fitness studio — in 60 days.

A look inside one of our most-asked-about engagements. Same playbook is open to you.

The problem

Tons of traffic. Almost no signups.

Ironclad Fitness was investing heavily in Instagram and getting traffic to match. But fewer than 0.7% of site visitors were starting a free trial. The owner couldn't see why — the site "looked fine."

The diagnosis

A funnel hiding the offer.

The free-trial CTA was below the fold, written in fitness jargon, and asked for 11 form fields before booking. Mobile users (62% of traffic) had to scroll through five sections to even find it. The trust signals — testimonials, transformations, certifications — were on a separate page.

What we did

Rebuilt the funnel around one moment.

We redesigned the homepage around the trial conversion: a one-line headline, a visible offer above the fold, three reduced form fields, and proof everywhere — transformations, reviews, and the studio's coaching credentials all visible without scrolling.

The result

3.4× conversion in 60 days.

Trial signups went from 0.7% to 2.4% of visitors. Mobile signups grew 148%. Paid ad spend stayed flat while leads tripled. By month four, the studio had a waitlist for the first time in its history.
